We’re looking for a Project Manager to join a growing construction company specializing in high-impact projects.
Our client has a strong portfolio of exciting projects on the horizon and is looking to add a Project Manager who will play a key role in overseeing project execution. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This individual will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive operational success and lead project teams through every phase of the project lifecycle.
Project Manager responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day operations of project teams, including superintendents and foremen, ensuring projects run smoothly and are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage project documentation, including securing and processing contracts, permits, and licenses, while ensuring compliance to protect both the company’s and client’s interests.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines, and implement changes as needed to stay on track.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring all necessary resources are available and costs are controlled.
- Handle change orders, pricing negotiations, and billing schedules, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection, while maintaining detailed logs of changes.
- Track actual costs and financial performance against estimates, working with senior leadership to resolve any issues and maintain cost control.
- Lead project closeout activities, including conducting pre- and post-construction meetings, ensuring all final documentation is completed, and the project is closed efficiently.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality control, timely deliveries, and processing of invoices in accordance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with the estimator on tender submissions, job closeouts, and take-off reviews, ensuring all documents are properly reviewed and project outcomes are met.
- Attend site walkthroughs, review estimates, and track the execution of project tasks to ensure successful delivery.
