What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance in supporting the overall business objectives of the department. As a hands-on leader, the Assistant Manager will work along side with team members to deliver exceptional service and value to our customers. Additional responsibilities include:

• Support achievement of established sale targets and margins.
• Order and price fuel and confectionary merchandise.
• Support local community initiatives and fundraising activities.
• Provide assistance with marketing and promotional efforts.
• Support a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

• Provide products, assistance, and service to customers.

• Provide assistance with staff and customer complaints.

• Provide assistance with scheduling, recruitment, and training of new team members.

• OHS Supervision and Safety course required.

• Complete safety training as required.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• You have a Grade 12 Diploma
• You have 1 – 2 years experience in a supervisory role and leading others.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• Previous retail supervisory experience is considered an asset.
