Auxiliary Marketing Instructor
Golden Campus
September 2, 2025, to December 19, 2025
Duties : The College of the Rockies Golden Campus requires an Auxiliary Instructor to teach one Principles of Marketing (MKTG 281) course as part of our Adventure Tourism Business Operations program. This section is expected to be offered as a face-to-face course from September to December. Each 45-hour course includes an additional 45 hours of preparation time for a total of 90 paid hours per course. Qualifications : The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Marketing, Management, Tourism Management or equivalent. A record of experience in marketing, advertising, or the field of sustainable business practices will be considered an asset. Post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
As an employee of the College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop their skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients.
Salary : Per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for auxiliary employees ranges from $44.89 to $60.26 per hour (this includes 16% in lieu of benefits and vacation).
This 45-hour course includes an additional 45 hours of preparation time for a total of 90 paid hours.
Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.
