We are continuously growing and are excited to create the first ever sales & marketing director position in our company, to be based in Ontario, Calgary, or British Columbia. The director role will play a valuable role across various brands and business units across Canada. At AvantSleep, we are dedicated team of professionals providing the highest quality in Sleep Apnea and Oxygen Therapy services across Canada. Job Summary : The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts of the organization within the healthcare sector. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and enhance brand positioning. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare sales, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in developing and supporting marketing activities for achieving sales and profitability targets. Key Responsibilities : Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders Lead the sales team by setting clear goals, providing training, and ensuring continuous performance improvement. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities. Marketing & Brand Development : Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market positioning. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and digital content to support sales efforts. Establish partnerships and alliances to increase brand reach and visibility. Leadership & Team Management : Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team. Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations. Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their goals. Customer Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner. Implement CRM strategies to track and analyze customer interactions and preferences . Qualifications & Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on healthcare sales. Proven ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, trends, and challenges. Experience working with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Ability to travel as required. French is an asset.
