Montreal Lighting & Hardware is looking for a Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth through strategic digital campaigns. If you're an organized, hands-on marketing leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing (paid ads, email marketing, social media) and the ability to hire and oversee the right freelancers , we want to hear from you!

This role requires someone who understands each marketing channel well enough to develop effective strategies, evaluate performance, and ensure freelancers deliver quality work . You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all marketing initiatives without directly managing an internal team.

What You’ll Do

• Develop & Execute Marketing Strategies – Create and implement digital marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads.
• Manage Paid Advertising – Oversee Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram Ads, and other PPC campaigns , ensuring cost-effective performance.
• Email Marketing & Newsletters – Plan and execute email campaigns (Klaviyo) , ensuring messaging aligns with company goals and resonates with our audience.
• Social Media Management – Maintain and grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest , either directly or by managing freelancers.
• Website & SEO Optimization – Collaborate with specialists to improve search rankings, user experience, and conversion rates .
• Performance Analysis – Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics , making data-driven adjustments as needed.
• Freelancer Coordination – Identify, hire, and manage freelance designers, copywriters, and specialists to execute marketing initiatives efficiently.
