Job descriptionAttend the survey request assigned to them (field and office). Be responsible for preparing the fieldwork data before and after completing the task. Be responsible for doing a quality check of the data provided and its fit within the executed works. Prepare survey reports adequately for as-built drawing creation. Propose measures to help improve the survey section. Support the surveyors and survey assistants mentoring and helping them to improve. Properly handle the companys material under their responsibility. Assist and carry out the necessary work to implement measure and maintain the Survey Network.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in land surveying.
- Experience in management and leading survey teams is an asset.
- Have a deep understanding of civil works construction and methods.
- Highly skilled in personal communication relationships with other departments and different levels of site management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office environment.
- Knowledge of Design software such as Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of Point Cloud software.
- Be highly skilled in using varied survey equipment such as Laser Scans Total Stations GNSS receivers and Digital Levels.
- Professional designation such as Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is preferred.
