Position Overview
As a 4th Class Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of our vessels. This full‑time, year‑round position includes an active sailing season from May to December, followed by four months of essential overhaul and refit work during the off‑season. Operations are based from the ports of Wood Islands, PE, and Caribou, NS. Reporting directly to the Engineer of the Watch , you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of all machinery and equipment aboard the vessel. This role demands a commitment to safety, operational excellence, and teamwork, contributing to the overall success of Northumberland Ferries Limited’s operations.
