Overview
Manufacturing Process Engineer (Engineer II) at All Weather at Home, Edmonton Plant I. You work under the guidance of a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and collaborate with teams across the company to improve production processes, making them faster, safer, and more efficient. You analyze production data, lead improvement projects, and shape the future of our operations. This role involves hands-on work, solving real-world problems, and delivering visible impact daily.
Responsibilities
- Lead process design, automation, and plant optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, and data analysis to identify inefficiencies, address root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process controls to ensure consistent, high-quality output across production areas.
- Act as a key link between engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to align goals and meet production targets.
- Manage capital projects, support equipment upgrades, and contribute to business cases and ROI analyses for process changes.
- Champion process safety, support quality audits, and contribute to risk management through FMEA and control planning.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and stay current with industry trends; support leadership with special projects as needed.
