Position Summary
IEM is currently seeking a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner to support the hiring efforts for our Surrey, B.C. locations. The role reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and is part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. The Recruiter will consult with hiring managers, develop and execute talent strategies, identify and engage candidates, and ensure an excellent experience for stakeholders. This position follows a hybrid schedule with two required in‑office days each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR colleagues to meet overall business and talent goals, providing talent solutions and advising when necessary.
- Develop and execute macro and micro talent acquisition strategies for supported businesses.
- Educate hiring managers and stakeholders on TA policies and practices to maintain a consistent, engaging candidate experience.
- Set expectations and communicate regularly with all stakeholders, including managers, candidates, vendors, and internal partners.
- Identify, attract, and assess talent efficiently while maintaining high service levels for multiple hiring managers and candidates.
- Collaborate with business leaders and HR on new‑hire onboarding, employee experience, and retention.
- Leverage data to influence and drive decision making.
- Evaluate labor market conditions and industry intelligence to inform optimal business and talent decisions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation, challenging the status quo when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Provide light international travel to U.S. offices (~5%).

Compensation
Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
Compensation Range : $41.00 – $67.00 hr CAD
