The Work
The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy will be a key partner to the Commercial Strategy Team, leading and supporting high-priority strategic projects that drive EQ Bank’s commercial banking agenda. Working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape and execute strategies that align with EQ Bank’s goals and ambitions in the commercial space. This is an opportunity to work on initiatives that impact EQ Bank’s strategic direction and play a critical role in the future of commercial banking for Canadians.
The Core Responsibilities!
- Support Strategic Projects : Drive the development and execution of key strategic initiatives, collaborating with senior leaders to shape EQ Bank’s commercial strategy and support enterprise transformation.
- Provide Strategic Analysis : Conduct comprehensive strategic reviews and develop robust recommendations to support decision-making for the Executive Committee and Board.
- Support Annual Strategic Planning : Contribute to the development of materials for executive and board-level discussions, ensuring alignment with EQ Bank’s commercial banking priorities.
- Facilitate Collaboration Across Teams : Act as a catalyst for collaboration, helping to identify growth opportunities, streamline processes, and optimize business performance in commercial banking.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor : Build strong relationships with senior leaders by providing rigorous strategic insights and facilitating trade-off decisions.
- Enhance Operational Efficiency : Work with stakeholders to improve processes, solve problems, and drive strategic and operational success across the commercial banking division.

The incumbent will be working hybrid and in office time will be spent working from Equitable Bank’s additional office space located at 351 King Street East, Toronto, ON.
