I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a global leader in complete HVAC-R systems - Permanent position 37.5 hours / week Your Role
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will be involved in the complete development cycle of electrical and automation systems for HVAC-R equipment designed for the maritime industry. Your main responsibilities will include : -Design and develop control panels using AutoCAD Electrical and create the necessary electrical schematics for manufacturing. -Program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) to ensure optimal system performance. -Contribute to project planning, assess the required engineering time, and anticipate technical needs. -Test and troubleshoot electrical and control equipment during factory testing and commissioning phases onboard vessels. -Perform on-site commissioning of systems, ensuring the proper installation and calibration of sensors and electrical components. -Provide technical support to field teams during system startup and fine-tuning. -Update and optimize electrical plans based on design or commissioning changes. -Analyze and interpret control sequences to ensure the coherence and efficiency of automated systems. -Propose innovative solutions to optimize wiring and reduce installation costs. -Occasional travel required for commissioning and supporting shipyards. Your Professional Skills -Autonomous and meticulous -Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering -Hands-on approach and troubleshooting skills We are looking for a proactive individual, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing valuable expertise to production and commissioning teams. Your Profile -3 to 5 years of experience in electrical system design and integration, ideally within the maritime or industrial sectors -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering -Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming software (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalents) -Bilingual french / english
