Job description

Adecco is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Middleton, NS for a temporary position. This warehouse job is ideal for candidates with experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, inventory management, and general warehouse operations. In this role, you will help prepare and assemble customer orders, unload and receive incoming products, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Pay rate: $18/hour
  • Location: Middleton, NS
  • Shifts: Monday - Sunday | Shift 4pm-12am
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Select customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems
  • Accurately pick products by item number, description, and quantity
  • Stack, wrap, and label pallets or cartons according to company standards
  • Transport completed orders to staging or shipping areas
  • Inspect products for damage or quality issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
  • Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance standards
  • Communicate shortages, damages, or errors to supervisors

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • A high school diploma or prior warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical work
  • Stamina to stand and walk for long periods
  • Awareness and attentiveness to people, vehicles, and safety protocols
