Job descriptionA high school diploma or a college diploma in a relevant field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (data entry skills in Excel). Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment. Knowledge of cold chain management in a GMP environment (an asset). A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy objects and handle chemicals. Located in the heart of the Cité de la Biotech in Laval, Kedrion Biopharma Canada's mission is to make rare connections that impact millions of lives. Our team is developing an innovative treatment based on plasma-derived proteins, offering a new path of hope to children and adults suffering from orphan diseases. We're turning innovation into real solutions to save lives.
To contribute to the team's success, the Material Management Technician, reporting to the Materials Management, Supervisor, will mainly :
- Be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing raw materials, equipment, supplies, finished and semi-finished products in accordance with applicable procedures. Load, unload and move products and materials as required.
- Use the ERP system to receive all materials, equipment and consumables into a GMP-compliant warehouse.
- Ensure proper storage of standard production waste as well as biomedical waste from the plant.
- Manage import / export documents related to the receipt and shipment of materials.
- Liaise with planner and procurement to ensure adequate and appropriate levels of materials, equipment and consumables are maintained.
Requirements :
What Prometic Offers
Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary.
Another language is required for this position in order to communicate with partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebecand to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
