Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Aircraft Maintenance Manager plays a key role in overseeing and optimizing aircraft maintenance operations. Responsibilities include :
- Promoting and enforcing the Safety Management System (in accordance with CAR 107.02)
- Supporting and applying the policies and quality standards of Avianor’s Maintenance Policy Manual
- Managing aircraft maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with procedures and airworthiness standards
- Overseeing planning, logistics, shipping, receiving, and procurement related to aircraft maintenance
- Collaborating with the Quality Assurance Manager to improve inspection policies and quality processes
- Scheduling employee shifts, training, vacations, and certification updates
- Supporting maintenance logistics, including tooling and facilities
- Ensuring that the Planning Manager and Supply Chain – Hangar Manager meet all CARs and MPM requirements
- Performing other duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Management (GOP or equivalent)
- A team-focused leader with a service-oriented mindset
- A people person with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strongly results-oriented and operationally focused
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a strong asset
