Job description

Our client, a leading Manufacturing supplier in Niagara Region, Ontario, is currently looking for a full-time permanent Maintenance Lead Hand with solid experience in manufacturing sector.

Job : Maintenance Lead Hand

Pay : $45-53+ Benefits.

Location : Niagara Region, Ontario

Main Duties

Ensures maintenance has all the proper spare parts, identified by Engineering, are in stock
Recommends changes to the PM program to Engineering
Ensures equipment is available and safe for production when required
Evaluates contractor services on an ongoing basis
Creates necessary equipment maintenance and contractor supply contacts for equipment maintenance and service
Coordinates site maintenance shutdown in conjunction with the Plant Engineer
Regularly communicates and coordinates training matrix requirements with plant admin

Knowledge Required

5 years' experience working in a plant team-based maintenance environment

433A License is Required

Practical knowledge of Plant Equipment

Understanding of skills expected from various trades

Safe maintenance practices in a Manufacturing environment
