Loss prevention officer Jobs in Richmond, BC

Securiguard is currently looking for highly capable security professionals to join our Loss Prevention Team. As a member of our Undercover Team, you will be working with 2-4 members while patrolling select retail stores, apprehending shoplifters, following prolific offenders, and gathering related intelligence.

What you would bring :

• Valid BC Security Worker License
• AST (Required)
• Previous Security Experience - 1year (Required)
• Loss Prevention Experience- 6 months (Required)
• Must be flexible to work in multiple stores / locations
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour period
• Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis
• Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required
• Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor
• Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to arrest, recover and conduct mobile and static surveillance of persons, groups, vehicles, and addresses
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictate
