Job descriptionAssurer le respect des différentes règles et réglementations en matière de sécurité, d’exploitation et de Transports Canada. Effectuer des inspections périodiques et annuelles comprenant les différentes réglementations relatives aux inspections. Câbler, entretenir, réparer, reconstruire, inspecter et installer l'équipement électrique, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, les rhéostats, les systèmes de commande, les transformateurs, les moteurs, les générateurs, les appareils d'éclairage électrique, les chauffages de cabine, les batteries et leurs systèmes de charge, les enregistreurs de vitesse, les commandes des compresseurs d'air, interrupteurs de température, démarreurs, générateurs d'essieux, bobines, contacteurs, relais et régulateurs. Maintenir de façon préventive des composantes électriques. Dépanner et tester les systèmes électriques monophasés et triphasés sur les locomotives diesel électriques qui incluent les composants et le câblage mis à la terre, haute et basse tension, transition et charge électrique ou sans charge. Travailler de façon sécuritaire. Exécuter toutes autres tâches connexes. Détenir un diplôme d'études professionnel ou collégial en électromécanique. Détenir 3 années d’expérience dans un milieu similaire. Détenir un permis de conduire valide. Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit (atout). Avoir des aptitudes pour s'adapter aux situations changeantes : horaire de travail, appel de service, heures supplémentaires, tâches à accomplir, etc. Être prêt à travailler dans des conditions météorologiques parfois difficiles. Démontrer une grande autonomie et être débrouillard. Avoir de l’expérience ou des connaissances en automatisation programmable (atout).
