We are requiring a Life Skills Teacher for tustukeeskaws Jr / Sr highschool to start Monday, August 26, 2024. The successful candidates will have

• The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders; e.g., students, parents, administration,
• Knowledge of theAlberta Education Act and the Alberta Program of Studies
• Understanding of local culture and traditions
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to advocate and participate in outdoor activities
• Demonstrate healthy living by example Successful applicants will possess : ? Bachelors of Education Degree? Hold a valid Alberta Interim Professional Teaching Certificate or Alberta Permanent Professional TeachingCertificate? Knowledge and understanding of leveled literacy programs and shared reading ? Knowledge andunderstanding of how to engage in relationships at the individual, familial and community levels? Proficient with Google Workspace?
