Your Role

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a well-established aerospace manufacturer located on the North Shore of Montreal, for a C-licensed Electrotechnician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is on an evening shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.), Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of all electrical systems on-site while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all facility electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues and carrying out corrective actions.
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical schematics to perform efficient interventions.
• Installing, modifying, and maintaining wiring systems, motors, sensors, transformers, switches, and control panels.
• Testing electrical and electronic components using tools to measure voltage, current, resistance, and continuity.
• Running conduits through walls, ceilings, and floors and connecting electrical wiring as needed.
• Working in coordination with production teams to address and resolve any electrical issues affecting operations.
• Supervising subcontractors or junior technicians, when required.
• Strictly adhering to health, safety, and environmental programs, and actively contributing to process improvements.
• Keeping accurate maintenance and compliance records.
