Purpose of the position

La Vilia St-Jean is a warm and pleasant residence which has the pleasure of welcoming independent residents with a slight loss of autonomy. Located in a prime area of St-Jean.We are currently looking for a talented Practical Nurse who cares about the health of residents. Full-time EVENING schedule, every other weekend. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

• Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
• Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
• Respond to all emergency situations

Required qualifications :

• A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
• PDSB training
• Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
• Member of the OIIAQ
