As a Road Service Technician, you will join a solid organization where autonomy and expertise are at the heart of every intervention. Based in Montreal, this position represents an exceptional opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of equipment, ranging from heavy machinery and hydraulic systems to diesel engines.

Position: Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Field Service Technician

Location: Montreal Area
Type: Permanent
Schedule: Day shift
Wage: $35 to $45/hour (based on experience)
Industry: Heavy machinery

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the service technician position:

Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a wide range of equipment.
Travel directly to client sites to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Meticulously ensure the cleanliness and maintain the professional image of your assigned service vehicle.
Thoroughly and accurately document your daily interventions using electronic or paper work orders.
Actively participate in the technical training of junior technicians to promote knowledge sharing.
Collaborate occasionally with parts and equipment logistics to ensure smooth service operations.

Qualifications
The qualifications for the service technician position:

DEP in heavy equipment mechanics or heavy machinery. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
3 to 5 years of practical experience in heavy equipment or industrial tool repair.
Advanced mechanical skills and an excellent ability to read schematics and diagrams.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for road travel.
Ability to provide your own personal toolbox required to perform your duties.
Perfect command of French (both spoken and written) and an excellent sense of customer service.
