Library Technician - CUPE Local 1328 (Office, Clerical and Technical Employees)

Working period : 10 months and 10 days (last week of August to first week of July)
Positions available : various Toronto area locations
Qualifications
- A two-year Library and Information Technician Diploma is mandatory. Consideration will be given to candidates nearing successful completion of the program.
- Must be a practicing Roman Catholic verified through a Pastoral reference.
- Experience in library automation software, Microsoft Word and Windows applications and database management.
- Demonstrated organizational, and office management skills (, electronic technology and appropriate office equipment).
- Ability to operate equipment; , video camera, combination slide / television monitor, cassette duplicator, compact disc player, VCR scanners and other technological devices in a network environment.
- Some of these positions may be itinerant and reliable transportation would be required.
- Successful candidates (external applicants) will be required to provide a police reference check.

This is a CUPE Local 1328 union position with a bi-weekly pay of $2, to $2, (effective September 1, 2024).
