How would you like to work in a fun, fast-paced, and customer-focused role? Do you enjoy facilitating cool events and activities? We are looking for an Activities Assistant to help make our guests have a wide range of “fun things” they can participate in while visiting one of our resorts.
Job Summary
Job Duties
- Coordinates and attends activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners (Essential)
- Sets-up and cleans-up after events (Essential)
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests (Essential)
- Serves as a role model for Sun standards and reputation (Essential)
- Helps to maintain attendance tracking for each activity
- Assists with training activities team members and volunteers
- Assists with distributing weekly newsletter to resort residents and guests
- Ensures all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 20 lbs.
