We are seeking a Senior Information Architect to provide high-level expertise in architectural needs assessments and complex system reviews. This role is responsible for defining information requirements, developing detailed architectural plans, and ensuring that all I&IT projects align with enterprise standards. You will lead sensitive investigations, research and implement architectural policies, and act as a primary advisor for internal teams and external contractors on information architecture best practices.
Location: Orillia, ON
Hybrid: 1 day onsite / 4 days remote
Duration: 12-month contract
Rate: $585.48 - $630.17/diem

- Must Have: 3+ years experience with GO-ITS 200PRS EA Governance Requirements and Standard Enterprise Architecture artifacts.
- Must Have: 3+ years experience with CASE tools (e.g., PowerDesigner, ERwin, MySQL Workbench, MagicDraw, Visio, or Jira).
Technical & Specialized Skills
- Deep knowledge of Information Management principles, concepts, and policies.
- Proven ability to develop checkpoint deliverables and navigate complex governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AODA regulations and their application within information architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in RFP specification development and vendor contract assessment.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex architecture into business-friendly guidance.
- Strong analytical skills for performing sensitive investigations and reviews.
- Ability to manage resource estimates and timelines for large-scale projects.
