Cambridge Isotope Laboratories Canada, Inc. a une opportunité passionnante alors que nous recherchons un nouveau technicien de laboratoire en biotechnologie pour se joindre à notre équipe basée à Montréal, QC. Ce sera un poste contractuel d'une durée de 12 mois, avec une potentielle extension.
En tant qu'entreprise chef de file dans un créneau scientifique, CIL Canada est une filiale de Cambridge Isotope Laboratories (CIL) au Massachusetts, le plus important producteur mondial d'isotopes stables et de composés marqués aux isotopes stables. Nous travaillons avec des chercheurs de pointe dans divers domaines tels que le diagnostic clinique, la recherche métabolique, la protéomique, les tests environnementaux, la découverte de protéines, le développement de médicaments, la métabolomique et la recherche industrielle. Notre clientèle croissante comprend des milieux universitaires, pharmaceutiques et industriels, permettant des collaborations avec des lauréats du prix Nobel, des scientifiques de premier plan de l'industrie et des chimistes. CIL collabore également avec des fabricants d'instruments de premier plan et des groupes de recherche pionniers, favorisant le développement de produits et la croissance du marché. Filiale du groupe pharmaceutique Otsuka, CIL connaît une croissance constante depuis 40 ans.
Le technicien effectuera plusieurs fonctions de production en soutien à la croissance et à la purification de nos cultures d'algues. Il sera également responsable de participer aux projets d'amélioration des processus et d'expansion.
Responsabilités
- Suivre les procédures établies
- Respecter et maintenir les normes ISO-9001
- Travailler de manière stérile et consciencieuse
- Suivre les bonnes pratiques de laboratoire
- Participer à la production des milieux de culture
- Cultiver des microalgues dans des photobioréacteurs
- Effectuer le nettoyage et la stérilisation du matériel de laboratoire
- Effectuer l'entretien et l'étalonnage de l'équipement de laboratoire lorsque nécessaire
- Remplir les formulaires de production
- Participer aux initiatives d'amélioration continue
- Effectuer des révisions de SOP
- Maintenir les normes de santé et de sécurité dans l'espace de laboratoire
- Garder l'espace de travail propre
- Être titulaire d'un diplôme technique ou supérieur en biotechnologie ou dans un domaine étroitement apparenté
- Avoir d'excellentes techniques de laboratoire et compétences en communication
- Être à l'aise de travailler dans un environnement de production
- Effectuer régulièrement des travaux nécessitant de se tenir debout, de se pencher et de se baisser
- Maîtriser le français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit; le bilinguisme est un atout
- Être familier avec les techniques de travail stériles
