The service technician is responsible for keeping the equipment in the warehouse running smoothly. They ensure the implementation of the maintenance plan and are responsible for the installation of additional equipment. They contribute to the safety of people and property on the site. This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for advancement within the Technical Facilities department.

Responsibilities
Installs all equipment at the site related to the operation, ensuring that the appropriate equipment is used.
Ensures that site safety features are clear and usable (fire protection system, emergency exit, etc.).
Intervenes to repair or have repaired equipment and spaces, secure, document and communicate areas undergoing maintenance.
Prepares claims in the event of damage.
May be required to use external service providers, establish the associated preventive maintenance plan, manage their on-site presence and evaluate the quality of the services they have provided. (Declarations of completion...)
Reads on-site meters (hour meters, lightning dampers, etc.), flags problems when the situation requires it.
Works on specific equipment according to their authorizations (electrical, etc.).
Identifies and monitors corrective actions, downtime, and production impact
Program and coordinate the work in agreement with the site manager
Complies with the specifications of interventions, deadlines and quality requirements, in accordance with ID Logistics standards and certification
Monitors the budget devoted to their activity.
Liaises with the site during their on-call period
Knows and applies health and safety rules and procedures and in force locally, in his / her area of responsibility.
SPECIALTY : MECHANIZATION
Participates in the maintenance of mechanized equipment.
Performs maintenance on mechanized picking stations.
Identifies problems on conveyors and intervenes to correct these malfunctions.
Identifies malfunctions and takes appropriate action (site or vendor maintenance)
Qualifications
1 to 2 years of study in higher education or equivalent by experience
1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position
