Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Test Lead, Store Applications Lab. This role is based out of one our main office in Stellarton, NS.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

As an Test Lead, Store Applications Lab with Sobeys, you will :

• Proactively identify new equipment and software requirements for chartering, budgeting and planning activities.
• Complete requisitions / replacements for hardware in coordination with the product teams and end of life equipment with the store systems / EUC team.
• Coordinate networking and installs for store test labs.
• Log tickets and coordinate with external technicians required for installs / troubleshooting equipment.
• Maintain catalog of test lab assets including software, network ID’s, and hardware.
• Assign lab assets to projects / individuals and maintain status of assignments.
• Ensure lab versioning (virtual and physical) reflects production status prior to testing.
• Refresh databases and manage production feeds to labs.
• Create both virtual and physical labs as required to support project requirements.
• Advise management of any risks or blockers to project or enhancement timelines resulting from lab status or availability.
• Champion an automation first approach for regression testing and enable automation capabilities for store equipment.
