At Nova Hotels, we believe great hospitality starts with great people. We are proud to create welcoming workplaces where employees feel valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.

What we offer:

  • Extended health benefits for full-time employees
  • Employee discounts at food & beverage outlets
  • A company committed to workplace safety, teamwork, and exceptional guest experiences

About the Role

As a Line Cook, you will help prepare and deliver quality meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, food safety, and consistency.

Successful candidates are dependable, motivated, and passionate about hospitality and food quality. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with your team, and contributing to a positive kitchen culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to hotel recipes and presentation standards
  • Review daily production sheets and assist with food preparation for service
  • Ensure station setup, service, and closing procedures are completed properly
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Minimize food waste through proper rotation, labeling, and storage practices

  • Follow all Nova Hotels standards, policies, and health & safety practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Passion for hospitality, food quality, and continuous learning
  • Food Safety Certification considered an asset

Work Environment

This role operates within a busy hotel kitchen environment with medium to high noise levels and exposure to commercial kitchen equipment and varying temperatures.

Team members may be exposed to:

  • Cleaning chemicals and sanitation products
  • Sharp tools and kitchen equipment
  • Fast-paced service periods
  • High-traffic guest and staff areas

Safety is a priority at Nova Hotels, and all team members are expected to follow safe work practices and contribute to a clean and respectful workplace.
