Job description

Franklin Empire Inc. supplies electrical components for new construction, renovation and maintenance of industrial plants, residences and commercial buildings. We provide OEM and MRO solutions (maintenance, repair and operation), lighting design, inventory management, training, automation expertise, and specialized services.

We are currently looking for an Account Manager for our Hamilton Branch.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure and develop sales and profitability for the territory and the market segment, among both existing and future industrial and OEM customers
  • Promote and increase visibility of Franklin Empire products and branding.
  • Evaluate and manage potential business opportunities and projects;
  • Provide solutions to problems, in order to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction, in partnership with the internal sales department and the purchasing department;
  • Provide both oral and written technical presentations;
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Optimize travel to reduce costs;
  • Optimize the purchasing habits of certain customers, in order to reduce operating costs;
  • Keep up to date on the technical requirements of the various types of products;
  • Keep up to date on changes in customers and competition.


Job requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in sales, in the electrical field;
  • Knowledge of automation, sensing and communications solutions.
  • Negotiation and persuasive skills;
  • Available for travel within the defined region;
  • Customer oriented;
  • Interpersonal skills and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of MS-Office suite.
