GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

As directed by the Shift Supervisor or designate, responsible for inspection, handling and packaging of products and assisting the Material Handler or Counter wherever necessary or possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be physically able to fulfill the responsibilities of the job classification through good manual dexterity.
• Must be prepared to work in a co-operative environment with other employees in the work area.
• Should possess good written and communication skills.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• To be able separate scrap from good quality products.
• To demonstrate the ability to be flexible in product handling and machine attending. Perform required post molding operations and packaging of product.
• To be co-operative and supportive with other employees in the work area.
• Must constantly work at maintaining a clean, tidy, organized and safe working area.
• Be responsible for warning or reporting to the Supervisor, failures or malfunctions in equipment or machines.
• Provide assistance to Material Handlers in packaging, labeling, regrind handling and any other related duties.
• Must be able to feed product through the press and be able to inspect printed or non-printed products in order to meet quality requirements in Printing Department.
• To handle other assignments as directed by the Supervisor.

Please note that afternoon shift is from 2pm to 10pm.

Pay:

The range for this position is $17.85 – 28.44 per hour. Exact salary offered will depend on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
