Job description
  • Review and understand the Engineering Drawings, Technical Specifications, and Project Scope prior to project installations.
  • Support installation estimates and costs during project quotation phases
  • Assist with the development of an installation timelines identifying all major project requirements and tasks. MS Project/excel
  • Ensure that correct resources are coordinated for the installations including: personnel, equipment, rentals, hotels and other tools as required.
  • Ensure that personnel have the required training/certification for the project.
  • Plan provision of all required tools, rentals, etc. as required and coordinate with customer as appropriate.
  • Lead Tool Connex management to ensure that tools, equipment and consumables are available. Manage inventory of Connex
  • Communicate with the customer directly to ensure the timelines, open issues and all required activities are appropriately planned during the installation.
  • Identify and address quality issues shop-to-site, company-to-customer, and inform design of any problems.
  • Manage changes to the project scope inform the Project Manager as required
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive onsite project documentation including daily progress updates, workforce timesheets and any safety concerns.
  • Support pre-assembly work and liaise with shipping department to ensure that all materials are delivered to site on time.
  • Ensure that equipment is shipped to site in an organized fashion to ensure an efficient onsite assembly.
  • Support customer site visits for pre outages and inspection.

Installation & Dismantle,Supervisory Management,Mechanical Assembly
  • Technical knowledge and 10 years practical experience with the installation of heavy machinery/Bulk material handlng equipment.
  • Red Seal / Journeyman Millwright certification.
  • Ability to understand and interpret mechanical assembly and detail drawings.
  • High level of mechanical aptitude coupled with ability to lead, manage and motivate a team onsite during installations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively perform this role, providing clear and concise directions to installation team.
  • Possess valid passport and driving license and be able to travel freely to the U.S.A.
