Our name says it all : Together We Deliver .

Location - Burlington, ON or GTA area. What You’ll Do The Intermediate Planner/Scheduler you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) projects.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules across all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project goals, deadlines, and resource allocations.

You will work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to provide accurate schedule forecasts and critical path analysis, facilitating proactive decision-making in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities: Schedule Development & Maintenance Develop, monitor, and update integrated project schedules using appropriate scheduling tools across all project phases (FEL, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning).

Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity coding, and resource loading in accordance with project execution plans.

Ensure schedule logic, durations, and dependencies accurately reflect the scope and sequencing of work.

Progress Measurement & Reporting Track schedule progress and performance against baseline; identify deviations and support mitigation planning.

Generate and present schedule performance metrics, look-ahead reports, and schedule health checks to project stakeholders.

Provide input into project progress reports, dashboards, and earned value analysis.

Forecasting & Analysis Conduct critical path, near-critical path, and float path analyses to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Forecast schedule impacts based on changes in scope, productivity, or resourcing.

Support scenario planning and recovery plan development when required.

Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to gather schedule input and validate activity sequencing.

Participate in regular project meetings, contributing schedule insights to support project decision-making.

Interface with client representatives, subcontractors, and vendors to align schedule expectations.

Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to corporate and project-specific scheduling standards and procedures.

Support internal and external audits by providing required scheduling documentation.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and scheduling processes.

Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Intermediate Role: 4–9 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the construction or EPCM industry.

Senior Role: 10+ years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.

Proficient in the use of industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).

Solid understanding of project management principles, earned value management, and construction methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with diverse project teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment under tight deadlines.

If you would like to apply for this position, respond directly to this ad for consideration.
