Investment Associate - M&A Team

The opportunity :

Valnet is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Investment Associate to help run the acquisition lifecycle and to manage our internal investments. The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment. This person will report directly to the Head of M&A and will work closely with our Brands and the rest of the leadership team in regards to future and potential acquisitions.

What you will be doing :

• Assist with the entire acquisition lifecycle : sound knowledge of the competitive landscape, sourcing, pipeline growth, capital deployment, valuation, negotiating, assisting counsel with purchase agreement drafting, integration / management (operations) : with the ultimate objective of driving results in line with IRR expectations.
• Manage our internal investments by leading / co-leading operations with content / business partners and driving operational / financial results as per budgeted expectations.
• Assist investment team’s needs with ad hoc requests, i.e. operational and financial modeling / budgeting / tracking / KPIs, while also assisting with special projects / reporting / meetings / presentations, etc.
