Role Purpose / Summary :
The Director, International Business Development will lead Decibel’s expansion of its business in international markets reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. This role involves growing business with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, navigating regulatory environments, managing supply chain and, demand planning and ensuring the successful introduction of Decibel’s products and brands outside of Canada.

Key responsibilities :
- Partnership Development : Build and manage relationships with distributors, licensees, and strategic partners to deliver revenue growth.
- Revenue Growth : Drive revenue and profitability through strategic market initiatives and optimized partnerships with customers and suppliers.
- Regulatory Navigation : Collaborate with QA, regulatory and legal teams to ensure all activities meet international cannabis laws and standards.
- Market Insights & Strategy : Monitor global cannabis trends, competitor activity, develop and execute tailored market entry strategies in compliance with local cannabis regulations.
- Supply Chain & Demand Planning : Coordinate with supply chain, production and QA / regulatory teams to align international demand forecasts with product availability, ensuring timely market launches and inventory management.
- Product & Sourcing : Identify suppliers and secure high-quality cannabis products and raw materials, ensuring alignment with market demand, regulatory standards, and Decibel's quality benchmarks.
