AECOM  is actively seeking a highly motivated  Water / Wastewater  Engineering Intern  for employment in the  Winnipeg Manitoba  office.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :

• Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks related to municipal water and / or wastewater treatment.
• Work under supervision of a project manager contract administrator and / or seniorlevel team member.
• Participate in water and / or wastewater process design activities including preparation of design calculations equipment sizing and selection process layouts engineering specifications and cost estimates.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and vendors.
• Review of quantity and cost estimates for completeness and accuracy.
• Participate in contract administration services during the construction of wastewater infrastructure and facilities.
• Perform municipal water / wastewater treatment plant site investigations data collection and analysis activities.
• Prepare technical memoranda contribute to preliminary and detailed design reports.
• Prepare permitting applications for local regulatory agencies.
• Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary design teams and assist with coordination tasks.
