This is an in-office position
ResponsibilitiesWorking with clients to determine needs and coordinate construction specific detailsAdvise client on space planning, layout and use of furnishings or equipment, interior finish selections and coordination.Detailing of custom millwork pieces for construction plans and review details of technical drawings or specifications.Review of shop drawings during construction for compliance with working drawings.Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers, and trades.Estimate project budget costs for use during Design Development and present design alternatives and solutions to client for approval.Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings.Draw detailed or technical illustrations.Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) and related software to produce construction documents.Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior DesignerQualificationsDiploma in Interior Designer from an accredited institution4+ years of Interior Design experience.You will possess proficiency in Revit, SketchUp and AutoCAD.Prior experience working on a variety of projects, ideally with extensive experience in institutional design.Experience of preparation of construction drawings and specifications.You will be hardworking, strong attention to detail and excellent graphic communication and presentation skillsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of $60K-$75K, extended health benefits, monthly travel allowance, and opportunities for growth within the company.
