We truly care about our clients, always put their best interests first, and always have their backs – and so will you.   We have big plans for the future, and now we need you, our next Insurance Sales Representative, to join our team.   Insurance Sales Representative :   Your primary goal in this position will be to help us take our business to the next level.   Here’s what you’ll do :
  • prospect and quote new clients daily
  • promote our brokerage
  • execute on sales by following and trusting our proven sales process
  • serve as clients’ trusted advisor, educating them about insurance options   You love the thrill of the hunt, but even more so, you love the connections you make while working with clients. You’ll motivate clients to make the right decisions for themselves, their families and their businesses by using your exceptional communication skills and piercing persuasiveness.   You love building relationships, and are an expert at establishing meaningful rapport. You’ll be dealing with clients who may be facing difficult life situations, and so you’ll use both your empathy and emotional resilience to handle challenging conversations while maintaining a positive attitude.     You’re also responsive, and understand the importance of seizing opportunities at the right time. You care about your existing and prospective clients, and will maintain a first-in-class client experience with frequent communication and quick response times, even outside regular business hours.   You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and you’re motivated by results. Above all, you’re coachable; you have an open mind, and you’re always seeking to learn more, develop your skills, and grow as a salesperson by using our team’s collective knowledge and external resources to continually improve.   Working @ Mumby Insurance Brokers Inc.   Mumby Insurance Brokers Inc. is a second-generation, family-owned business that has been providing insurance solutions since 1975. We are specialists, dealing with clientele who truly appreciate the variety and value of the services we provide.   Your ongoing personal and professional development matters to us. We fully cover the costs of your continuing education and any licenses you need. Every month, you will have the opportunity to participate in an individualized “Blueprint for Success” meeting with our CEO where you can discuss your personal and professional goals, and we’ll work together to help you achieve them.     The Details   This is a full time, permanent position.   If you are based in the Waterloo area, you can work in our Waterloo office. If you're located outside of the Waterloo area, there is the possibility for working remotely from home. There may also be some travel involved occasionally, to meet with clients, participate in promotional opportunities, and attend conferences.   We believe in rewarding your successes, so in addition to a competitive base salary and performance bonuses, we will work with you to determine your ideal commission structure based on your goals.   Your total compensation will greatly depend on your tenacity, your drive and, ultimately, the sales you make. In your first year, you can expect to make (at least) $50,000 per year.   Our ideal candidate will be local, but if you’re a true sales superstar from outside Kitchener Waterloo area, then we may consider a remote working arrangement (with occasional on-site meetings).   Qualifications
  • To succeed in this position, you will need to have had at least one year selling insurance with a proven track record of success.
  • RIBO, OTL, or LLQP license in good standing
  • Technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn how to use our state-of-the-art technology
