Job description

Looking for a clinic where you can do great medicine, keep growing, and enjoy the people you work with? We would love to meet you.

Our busy Burlington veterinary hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team.

We’re looking for an RVT who loves what they do, enjoys working collaboratively with DVMs and fellow support team members, and wants the opportunity to really use their skills. Whether you bring years of experience or are looking for a place where you can continue to grow, we want you to feel supported, valued, and excited about the work you do.

More than just a supporting role

We believe RVTs have an incredible amount to contribute to both patient care and the client experience, and we want to create opportunities for our technicians to develop areas of special interest and take the lead in services they are passionate about.

This could include RVT-led end-of-life and palliative care support, helping families navigate one of the most difficult stages of their pet’s life with compassion and dignity, as well as other technician-led services such as nutrition, weight management, senior pet care, chronic disease support, rehabilitation, client education and preventive care.

Have another area of veterinary medicine you’re passionate about? We would love to hear about it. We want to support our RVTs in developing their skills and bringing new ideas and services to the hospital.

A team you will want to be part of

Culture matters to us, a lot. We’ve worked hard to build a supportive, collaborative environment where people help one another, have some fun along the way, and genuinely care about providing exceptional medicine to our patients and service to their families. We believe the best veterinary care happens when everyone on the team is encouraged to contribute, learn and grow. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of that.

What we offer

We want our team members to have rewarding careers while still having a life outside of the hospital. As part of our team, you'll receive:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Continuing Education (CE) support to help you keep learning and growing
  • Comprehensive health benefits
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid vacation
  • Generous veterinary care discounts
  • Support from an experienced and approachable leadership team
  • Opportunities to develop and utilize your RVT skills
  • The opportunity to develop RVT-led services and areas of special interest
  • A collaborative, team-based approach to patient care
  • A welcoming environment where your contribution is valued

Most importantly, you'll be joining a team that believes we're all in this together. We support one another, celebrate the wins, learn from the challenging days, and share a commitment to providing remarkable care to pets and the people who love them.

If you are looking for a hospital where you can grow your career, explore your interests and have a real impact on patient care, we would love to hear from you. Come by and meet the team.
