About the Design Team
We’re a tight-knit and highly collaborative team of Product Designers, Content Designers, Researchers, and Design Ops working closely with cross-functional partners to envision and deliver experiences that help people care for their home and empower small businesses nationwide to grow. We collaborate regularly through design critiques, work sessions, and presentations to inspire and influence the direction of the product and company as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Lead Product Design across the Marketplace pillar, which consists of multiple cross-functional product pods
- Directly manage the designers across Marketplace and operate as a lead for the pillar
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to envision, strategize, and guide the product direction
- Initiate and lead design visioning work at the team and company level
- Empower design to create a northstar that guides product and experience decisions
- Empower designers to consistently deliver high-quality design solutions that positively impact our users and the business
- Cultivate a positive team culture of openness, curiosity, and bias for action
