At Draw Energy, we know our strength comes from our people. We are currently looking for an Industrial Electrical Foreperson to join our team to lead a small crew at various oil and gas sites within in the Grand Prairie area while remaining hands-on in day-to-day field work .

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as a working foreperson by actively performing electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting alongside the crew
  • Lead by example in the field, providing hands-on technical support, mentorship, and guidance to a small crew
  • Balance supervisory responsibilities with daily tool work to support productivity and project timelines
  • Assist with planning and execution of field work, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to drawings and specifications
  • Step in as a primary installer or troubleshooter as workload or crew size requires
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who install, repair and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures and control devices, power systems, telecommunication systems and cablevision systems
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments or subcontractors
  • Requisition of materials and supplies
  • Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity
  • Train or arrange for training of workers
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  • Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed
  • Prepare work progress reports
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers
  • Follow all company policies and procedures including Trotter & Morton Group of Companies Health and Safety program
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Required Experience :

    Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Journeyperson

    Has been responsible for managing, organizing and executing work for crews

    Electrical Trade Certification / Red Seal

    Additional Requirements
