The Opportunity :

IMP Solutions provides a broad suite of forward-thinking, end-to-end IT services and solutions to a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. With a rapidly growing team of over 140 talented individuals, located at offices in Halifax, Mississauga and various remote locations throughout Canada, we are searching for a dynamic individual to join our Inside Sales team in the role of Inside Sales Support.

Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia reporting directly to the Manager of the Inside Sales Team, the Inside Sales Support will play a vital role in supporting that team. This position focuses on providing administrative assistance and operational support to augment the team in the execution of daily Inside Sales activities, ultimately ensuring an effective and efficient sales process. This role is ideal for a recent Business Administration graduate or an experienced administrative resource with some IT sales exposure who is looking for an entry level sales position. What You Will Do :

  • Provide administrative support to the Inside Sales team in the execution of the following activities : processing customer quotes and orders for IT hardware and software solutions. tracking and managing sales orders from initiation to fulfillment, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted. managing incoming inquiries from customers with respect to quotes and orders, providing prompt and professional responses while documenting interactions in our CRM system. managing the Sales Back Order Report. managing Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) with distributors and manufacturer partners.
  • Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer communications, and follow-up actions, ensuring data accuracy for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with other Inside Sales Team members as well as the Outside Sales Team and Finance Team to ensure seamless communication of customer needs and expectations.
  • Support both the Inside Sales Team and Outside Sales Team by generating sales reports and analyzing sales data to assist in identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in sales team meetings, providing insights and updates on administrative tasks and sales progress.

  • What You Need to Succeed :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supportive or administrative role, ideally within a sales or customer service environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
