About The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Information Technology, the incumbent will support the operational requirements necessary to facilitate the work of the Information and Instructional Technology Department (IT). The incumbent's understanding of the complex and inter-related roles and responsibilities within the department's divisions will support the implementation of a wide range of initiatives as directed by the Senior Manager.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Compile and organize confidential information related to IT initiatives, including hardware maintenance contracts.
- Coordinate departmental in-services, training and professional development activities.
- Provide function guidance and support to the Administrative Assistant to ensure the accurate and timely manner of processes.
- Plan, implement and maintain support for the various disciplines and projects within the IT team, including direct support to all levels of management.
- Provide administrative support for staffing / interview process for various department positions – for example - Administrative Assistant, co-op student hiring.
- Other duties as assigned
