Job descriptionManage IT Operations : Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software. Manage infrastructure : including servers, Virtualization and Storage solutions, routers, switches, and VOIP Communications platform. Optimize Service Desk : Manage ITIL-focused service desk for efficient, continuous improvement. Ensure Security & Resilience : Implement strong security, backup, DR, and incident response. Manage Vendors : Manage vendor relationships and contracts for key IT solutions, including cloud platforms, network security, and hardware Staff & Develop Team : Recruit, train, coach, and manage IT operations staff. Enforce Policies : Communicate and ensure adherence to company policies. Develop Strategy : Support and recommend IT strategies and policies. Planning and implementation : IT projects, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption to business operations University degree or equivalent education in Information Technology Minimum of 8 years of information technology experience, 3 years in a management or senior infrastructure / operations role. ITIL certification preferred as well as experience with ISTM tools. (SysAid) Support a wide range of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical staff, leadership, vendors, and customers. Have a strong background in transitioning and supporting on-premises solutions to cloud platforms (Azure). Strong background in security, with the ability to support and implement plans and policies to protect IT systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex IT challenges. Proficiency in Windows and Linux servers, Office 365, Data and Voice Access, VOIP service, FortiGate, and DR solutions (Veeam). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels. Effective leadership and team-building abilities. Familiarity with Retail and Distribution environments is an asset.
