Matrix HR is urgently seeking experienced Industrial Painters for an exciting project located in Halifax NS. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity.
Our client has been building quality vessels for over 50 years and has been at the forefront of Canadian shipbuilding for over 130 years. Be part of a world-class team at the forefront of Canada’s shipbuilding industry. We're looking for skilled, driven individuals ready to take on meaningful work in a dynamic, high-tech environment. Wage : $35 (Get paid weekly!)
Shift : Monday - Friday.
Referral Bonus Offered! - We are pleased to offer a referral bonus of $200 for each individual referred to Matrix HR who is successfully hired for this project. To be eligible for the referral payment, the referred candidate must complete a minimum of one week of work on our payroll.
Scope of work :
- Preparing and applying coatings using sprayer guns.
- Painting with pot and brush.
- Ability to work with different types of materials or products such as general metal products, construction materials or coatings.
- Surface preparation & Coating (i.e. Solvent Cleaning, Hand Tool Cleaning, Power Tool Cleaning, and Power Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal).
- Lead Abatement.
