Position Overview

This is a hands‑on senior individual contributor role for a builder, a problem‑solver, and a doer.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will take ownership of industrial & mechanical design for new Algo products, working from concept through prototyping and into production. This role is highly hands‑on : you will physically build and iterate prototypes while collaborating cross‑functionally with electrical, embedded, firmware, and cloud engineering teams to develop high‑performance and aesthetic products such as IP speakers, intercoms, enclosures, and industrial communication devices.

You will excel in this role if you are :

• A natural builder who likes to work with your hands and physically create things
• Curious, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented
• Enthusiastic about appealing industrial design combining functionality with aesthetics
• Excited to iterate rapidly and produce real prototypes
• Comfortable owning the design end‑to‑end
• A cross‑functional leader who drives execution; not a process manager
• Familiar with tooling requirements for plastic injection molding

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Strong skills in SolidWorks (preferred) or equivalent CAD tools.
