Position Summary
Our Montréal office is currently seeking to fill a junior / intermediate paralegal position within its corporate law group , specifically in the corporate services team . We are looking for a professional and reliable individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and easily adapt to an environment where priorities are constantly changing. To excel in this role, you must be organized, client-focused—serving both internal and external clients—while rigorously maintaining confidentiality at all times and being recognized for delivering top-quality services. We are seeking someone who can work efficiently in a multitasking environment, demonstrates great attention to detail, and is not afraid to embrace new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Supporting in transactional matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions, equity financings and corporate reorganizations (organization, drafting and follow-up)
- Prepares corporate documentation relating to incorporations, organizations, amendments, continuances, amalgamations, extra-provincial registrations, dissolutions and other reorganizations, including tax reorganizations, share and asset purchase.
- Generation of annual return packages (including annual returns and resolutions) for Québec and Federal entities and monitoring of applicable deadlines for the minute books under your responsibility.
- Preparation and coordination of extra provincial annual returns and renewals for corporations, business names, partnerships and limited partnerships across Canada.
- Electronic filing of annual returns and notices for Québec and Federalرتها entities including compliance with the new corporate transparency rules (reporting of individuals with significant control and ultimate beneficial owners).
- Manages and maintains updated the corporate database and corporate records for electronic minute books under your responsibility.
- Communication with corporate clients.
- Participates in special projects in response to firm initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Please note that due to the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, particularly to communicate on a daily basis with employees, managers and executives outside of Quebec. Additionally, the position’s responsibilities include drafting and analyzing legal documents in English, and providing recommendations.עו>

This role is a replacement position.
The target range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000, commensurate with the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
