This role is essential to driving growth in our Building Services preventative maintenance business by converting prospects into long-term service customers. The HVAC Service Sales Representative strengthens client relationships and ensures Modern Niagaras solutions deliver maximum value reliability and efficiency for building operations. Their success directly impacts our ability to expand market presence and maintain industry leadership

Key Impact / Purpose

  • Understands client decision-making and operational priorities strategically engaging facility managers engineers and other key stakeholders to build long-term partnerships.
  • Expands client portfolios by identifying new opportunities and converting prospects into long-term service customers.
  • Positions Modern Niagaras service maintenance solutions effectively engaging the right internal experts at the right time to create maximum client value.

Duties and Responsibilities : â

  • Prospect identify and develop new business opportunities for mechanical electrical and controls preventative maintenance services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers property owners and operational decision-makers across commercial industrial mixed-use residential healthcare and institutional sectors.
  • Generate and qualify leads through site visits assessments and strategic outreach to understand customer needs.
  • Schedule and manage 35 self-generated new appointments weekly to drive pipeline growth.
  • Respond to and coordinate industry RFPs and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals presentations and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate service agreements ensuring profitable growth and alignment with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with Service and Account Management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and activity tracking in CRM systems.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends competitors and market conditions to identify and act on growth opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and functions to expand the customer base and strengthen relationships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Must haves : â â

  • Post-secondary education in Business Marketing Mechanical Electrical BAS Controls or related Building Services is an asset.
  • 35 years of successful outside B2B sales experience preferably in building services or facility management.
  • Nice to haves :

  • Technical or trade background (HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical or building systems) is a strong advantage.
  • Relevant industry or sales designations are an asset.
  • This is a new position. Expected annual compensation; $80000 - $100000
