Scope
Reporting to the Manager of Facilities Maintenance and Operations, the Chargehand HVAC will perform varied trades work of a performs work of a complex nature, supervises crews performing HVAC trade work, provides supports to senior staff related to building maintenance, and construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of crews involved in HVAC trade work, including construction, maintenance and building control of City facilities and buildings.
- Assist senior staff with planning and directing work.
- Supports crew members in installing, repairing, and maintaining various (HVAC systems which include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, boilers, refrigeration and DDC systems.
- Performs other job duties as required. Qualifications
