Job summary
As Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving business development, and leading a team committed to delivering a superior member experience. You’ll play a pivotal role in growing the branch’s business, building strong relationships with the community, and ensuring the delivery of financial services that meet the evolving needs of our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow membership and engage with the local community.
- Monitor and manage branch performance, ensuring key metrics such as member satisfaction, productivity, and retention are met.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including lending, deposit functions, and adherence to audit and security standards.
- Drive the implementation of the Credit Union’s digital strategy and other initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior Leadership to manage the branch’s budget and staffing requirements.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of leadership experience in a financial institution or equivalent. You have a proven track record in managing branch operations, business development, and lending services, and experience opening a new branch would be an asset. You are highly skilled in financial products, lending, risk management and bring excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. You are capable of managing operations effectively while building strong relationships with both your team and community stakeholders.
