As part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving change. See what the power of commitment can do for you.

Join us as we strive to ensure a sustainable future for our communities and the world, we live in.

Become part of our global network of skilled engineers, scientists, auditors, planners, and environmental specialists, all working together to leave this world better than we found it.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong supportive relationships with co-workers, clients and project partners to successfully execute project deliverables. Mentor and support junior staff.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well‑being of yourself and others in the workplace. Identify risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate steps to address them, escalating serious issues as needed.
  • Business Development: Support business development efforts, including potential client / prospect identification, proposal writing and client-facing activities.
  • Bid Solicitation / Request for Proposal / Offer Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of service proposals and business development efforts.
  • Personal and skills development: Develop your own capabilities by participating in assessment and development‑planning activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Obtain or maintain external professional accreditation, where applicable, to improve performance and grow your career at GHD. Maintain an understanding of relevant technologies, external regulations, and industry best practices through continuous learning, attending conferences, and reading specialized publications.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or Sociology
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in impact assessment, or in natural resources
  • Good knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation.
  • Very good technical writing skills and able to write and edit reports, analysis, and RPFs.
